Meet Jade, Your Science Tribe Leader!

Jade is the leader for the Science Tribe. She is here to guide others as they explore the incredible world of science!  She loves everything about science, watch the video to meet her!

Jade is the name and curiosity is her game! Jade loves to observe and experiment and she is passionate about the sciences and how we can use research in physics, life sciences, and earth sciences to solve real life problems - like developing sustainable energy sources for example. She also loves the idea of trying to understand things that are totally unknown to people, like finding new species of microbes or even new galaxies. Last, she loves practicing science communication to share scientific discoveries with others.

Though Jade is a passionate scientist, this isn’t the only thing that she loves to do. She loves fashion, and is really into wearing clothes that are sustainable and environmentally responsible. You will always see her in bright colors and with an awesome hair-do.

Her favorite sport is BMX and downhill mountain biking, but when she feels like taking it a bit slower she also likes hiking and looking for cool plants and insects! The weekends that she isn’t out being active she likes to spend at the zoo learning all about animals, or even at the waterpark! When it comes to music, Jade has a hard time picking a favorite genre, but she loves smooth R&B beats and is a big fan of rap. In fact, she makes rap music to help her and others remember concepts about science.

In The YGBVERSE, Jade is our Science Tribe leader, which means she helps learners to understand science concepts and have a lot of fun while doing it! Jade takes YGBers through lessons and sends them on game-based learning challenges so that they can become the best scientist that they can be!

The Science Tribe will be the first tribe available in the YGBVERSE, and Jade can’t wait to help others learn how cool science can be!
